The Us has the monroe doctrine which means other cuntries must not come to the American sphere.ISn'tTaiwan nearer China.
China must be strong os that the US will not mess it around.When China is 50% as srong as the US it will be a differnt story.
Now the US owes alot of money yet it stills spending many monys on defence to ataacking othe kuntries.

Most important for China is to spend at least 2-3% of its GDP not only on military but also more on R&D into high techs and outer space and laser and optic and other science fiction reasearch technology, if China wants to defence and survive in the next conflict.
May I suggest that China incalcate into its citizens especially its wealthy citizens and corporations to contribute 1% of their net profits yearly to a National fund to help China catch up to US in the area of outer space.The next conflict may well be decided on who controls outerspace. The amount spend presently is meagre and miserable when compared to the US/Japan.in this area.
Only by so doing can China catch up and be on par with the Superpower in the next 10-20 yrs.Do it now as time may be the deciding factor of success or failure in the next conflict if it comes.

How do we stop others from beating us? Obviously by becoming stronger, and that is exactly what China is doing.
Why are the US and Japan complaining? Because they wont be able to get a walk-over as they did before. Be warned though, the fact that they are raising a hue and a cry suggests that they have some designs on China which cannot be easily realised now that China is getting prepared in a small way. China's defence budget: approx USD 44 billion; US's defence budget: USD 440 billion, ie, 10 times bigger than China's.
Don't take Australia to heart, its just that jackal in the wake of a lion, tail between legs, hoping to pick meat off bones that might remain after a kill.
